I don’t understand why some schools appear punished by the part-time policy and some don’t.

Chicago is consistently the most under rated school in the T10….Our clerkship and BigLaw placement is only trumped by Yale….Boalt does not even deserve to be in the T6 its HYS CCN for a reason (With Stanford being over rated)

Go Minnesota! So consistent.

Not only does UConn fall to T2, but its part time program doesn’t make the top 15. Sigh.

The US News rankings are a shame. My school did fine this year, but any system where schools can leap/fall 20% in a year (without a SCOTUS nomination) is inherently flawed. Did Boulder get that bad or Bloomington get good in one year? No way.

It is a real shame that Rutgers-Camden gets no respect.
It is a much better school than 77th, and every employer in the Philadelphia area knows it.

I could staff a fairly decent sized law firm just from the flame-outs I have seen come through my firm over the past 25-30 years from Harvard (excuse me, “The Law School”). Really, really smart. Really, really clueless. Really, really useless. And absolutely no sense for how to even begin to build a practice from the ground up. Unless Daddy has some friends at The Club who send along a few real estate closings. A bunch of pampered, overeducated, overachieving elitists with no street smarts whatsoever. They all need to go to really, really big firms where their wildly inefficient, over-the-top hourly postings can just get lost in the shuffle. These Top 100 listings couldn’t possibly be more irrelevant to determining who is going to be a successful lawyer and who is not.

Thank you John. I began to wonder if all my efforts should be focused on getting into these tier 1 schools but your comment re-commits my non-tier 1 choice. In the end life experience and actual “practice” makes good lawyers. (Besides mommy and daddy won’t be there to bail you out anymore.)
