Average Class of 2008 Wayne State Law School Graduate Salary – ~$77k?
The chart listed Wayne Law’s February 2009 bar passage rate as 70%. The correct number, after appeals, is 74% (83% for first-time takers). Even this statistic gives a distorted picture because of the relatively small number of graduates who take the February examination.
July bar exams provide more comprehensive statistics and illustrate that Wayne Law graduates consistently pass on their first try at a rate significantly higher than the statewide average. For example, in July 2008 Wayne Law’s passage rate (first-time takers) was 87%; in July 2007, it was a remarkable 96%.
While no one can argue that lawyers are not among those coping with the economic downturn, it is important to highlight that many law school graduates, particularly Wayne Law graduates, are thriving. Among Class of 2008 graduates seeking employment, more than 89% found a job within nine months after graduation, at an average starting salary of $77,155. These figures include a range of employment opportunities, including public interest work, judicial clerkships, and other government employment.

No.
This is complete bullsh**. ~20% of our class had to go solo because no one would hire us. How could those students possibly know how much they were going to make?
This is fraud.
